Techdirect.ie is one place for electronic devices and other IT related devices and services that bring whatever equipment or parts that you need to you. It’s a website owned and operated by Custom Computer & Technologies Ireland Limited. Being an award winning website can also be reflected by an overall rating of 4.5 stars in various site reviews. The business enterprise has been operating for quite a while though the time is not yet reflected. It also supplies all across Europe with products mainly focussing on components, laptops, monitors, servers and brand name desktop PCs. The website also has welcoming prices that offer a competitive advantage to other multi-national distributors.

PRICE

The quality of stock has price offerings that are reliable if you need quality devices and deals are much acceptable across the European countries. Most of them come inclusive of tax depending on the rates, but the prices offer the better part, save some. Price matching is done to offer what is best at a lower price than other suppliers of the same business category. Cheapness also has made manufacturers of this equipment to serve a big European market and the better part of Ireland.

SHIPPING

The company stocks a significantly large amount of products that need fast delivery. Many of the items are shipped from the UK Logistics centres. Items such as laptops, desktops, printers among others which are over €400 have an advantage of direct shipment and most of them get to you after 72 hours. Other non-stock materials or special orders can take up to 5 business days from the order date. If the non-stock items are outside the standard product range and not available in the UK, they take longer which might be up to 15 business days. Either way, most of the products are delivered safely although they might be opened from time to time for security check-ups. Some customers have also complained about the same, but if the product reaches safely, they are duly notified by the chosen partners. International delivery is possible, so there is no need to worry. A shipping order is filled upon shopping to input your details for purposes of successful shipping to your place. However, longer shipping periods trigger complaints from some of the clients from far distances or for special cases.

There is a rate table for delivery prices though there is no offer for free shipping. There is a Nightline tracking website to track your delivery. A track ID is sent via the delivery email or SMS text from Nightline. Additional delivery costs apply to multiple pieces ordered and customers incur an additional charge of €4.95 per case. B2B customers may incur extra delivery costs depending on the order and the agreement with the account managers. If your order luggage is above 30 kg, there will be additional charges that will be agreed upon after placing the order.

Secure means of paying for your goods are available, and they include PayPal, credit and debit cards. You can also use their card which is serviced by Realtex or go for bank transfer.

RETURNS

The policy dictates having an RMA which requires the customer to first contact the support team by email support@pctech.ie or the help desk at helpdesk.techdirect.ie.

Here are steps for submitting the RMA and tracking it.

  • Create an account is it is the first time.
  • Submit a new RMA request.
  • Enter the order number and a detailed description and reason for returning.
  • If need be, upload photos or screenshots showing the problem.
  • Submit the information, add another RMA if applicable, click “I am done” to submit the request.
  • You will receive an email upon approval and follow the provided link to print out the RMA return form.
  • Some customers have complained about a delay. However, including a copy of the RMA return form in your package may avoid unnecessary delay.
  • For laptops and desktops with collect and return warranty, confirmation is done for Nightline.ie in 24 to 48 hours.

You can always log in to check the status of your RMA. For more information contact through email, support@pctech.ie to get help. It is advisable to package the return stock correctly using the same shipping box since the dealers are not responsible for shipping damages.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

You can login to the support centre using the same login details received in the past. Submit a ticket if you are using helpdesk for the first time. You will get a password to login to the support centre. You don’t have to register to submit a ticket. It is also not possible to login to the help desk with credentials from e-commerce sites. There is a limitation to the time, and most customers get the voicemail. Though they are reachable from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm excluding bank holidays. After hours is reserved for emergency purposes where you can email at support.desk@pctech.ie if a case is an urgent one.
